Growing up in Louisiana, ….
It is all about nature, wildlife and lifestyle. It is about the people, how they care about and respect one another. It’s about Southern charm; yes ma’am and no ma’am- dancing, fishing, spending the day on the water and watching the pelicans- at one time almost extinct- flying low over the water. I never knew how much of that was really me until I left the South. It’s about Joy and Peace and Soul. I hope all that and more can be seen in my photography wherever my life takes me, because I take it all with me wherever I go……

it’s all about history, pride and country. It’s about mountains and sea, stark beauty and lush landscapes, castles and standing stones. It’s about the cleanest, freshest air and greenest greens I’ve ever seen. There is a kindness in the people. I have become one of their own and it has been my home for 10 years now. The beauty of the United Kingdom as a whole knows no bounds. I am drawn to this landscape and never tire of its beauty and its secrets that whisper in the wind. In my photography of Scotland, I always work to capture it’s magic, the majesty of it all that keeps me in awe.

This is a special series of photographs that represent people's lives. I wanted the images to depict who they are, what their occupation is, what their passion is and in some, what they have lost. A persons hands can tell a lot about them and the lives they lead.
